Situated within the eco-district project known as the “Digital Fort,” Villa V2 pays homage to the rich history of its surroundings while embracing modern innovation and sustainability.

A Reimagined Landscape

Originally a military wasteland dating back to the Prussian invasions, the Issy-les-Moulineaux fort has undergone a remarkable transformation into a vibrant eco-district. Spearheaded by Bouygues Immobilier, the project encompasses 18 blocks of residential flats, educational facilities, and leisure amenities. Recycled curtains have been repurposed into fitness trails, while a swimming pool and bowling pitch offer recreational opportunities for residents.

Architectural Harmony

Guerin & Pedroza Architectes’ contribution to the eco-district is Villa V2—a seven-story building comprising 74 flats ranging from studios to five-bedroom apartments. Situated in the northern part of the fort, Villa V2 offers panoramic views of Paris to the east and lush orchards to the south. Each apartment is meticulously designed to maximize natural light and ventilation, with orientations tailored to optimize views and comfort.

Dynamic Design Elements

Villa V2 stands out for its dynamic design elements, which inject vitality into the overall architectural composition. Polymorphous inclusions disrupt the regularity of the building, creating visually striking balconies, loggias, and terraces adorned with bright golden cladding. These outdoor spaces serve as tranquil retreats where residents can bask in the beauty of their surroundings, illuminated by the mesmerizing play of light and reflections.

Commitment to Sustainability

Environmental sustainability is a cornerstone of Villa V2’s design philosophy. The development boasts four hectares of green spaces, including a lush orchard with 350 trees. To minimize its carbon footprint, Villa V2 utilizes geothermal energy for heating and hot water, with pneumatic waste collection systems ensuring efficient waste management. Additionally, ground-floor apartments feature private gardens, further enhancing residents’ connection to nature.
